Subject: Doors And Windows
Hi Sean
I just want to thank you for all the work and extras you and your
crew have done on my house.
For the first time since this house was built (2002), the
thermostatically controlled gas fireplace has not kicked in due to lack of heat
in the house!!
The heating in this house has been an on going
battle since the first winter (2002, 2003)
The furnace people said the furnace was putting out enough heat.
The builder said 'balance the vents'.
I used to calk the windows to the sills
every year to get the house to + 19 in the winter (regardless of the thermostat
setting!)
After having the insulation redone, the insulation people suggested
removing the window trim and calking the spaces since there was a significant
cooling breezes as one walked past the windows.
As we discovered, when we replaced the windows and doors, the
problem was the windows and doors themselves, not the installation.
The things that distinguish your company from any other is that
you:
1. listened to the
problem
2. contributed ideas to the solution (and I did not have to
compromise on what I wanted!)
3. provided what,
in my experience, is a very competitive price for the work
4. During the work
time:
a) Maintained an
orderly working (staging) area
b) Proceed through
the work in a logical and orderly fashion with very little disruption to the
house
c) Immediately
brought all unforeseen problems to me for discussion and resolution
d) cleaned the
house daily at the end of the day
e) And at the end
of the job you cleaned not only debris from the window and door installation,
but also the debris left by the person who built my deck!!
5. After the
completion of the contract, you were available for questions and small
adjustments that were not immediately noticeable at the time of completion. The
wonderful part of this is that everything was taken care of within 2 days of
calling and talking.
6. My feeling is
that your ability to maintain open and continuous communication with your
clients is part of the key to the quality of the work and service your company
provides.
These are the things that make the difference between just a
renovation and a wonderful experience with excellent value for dollar paid.
I cannot thank you enough for turning my nightmare into a dream!
Sincerely
Brenda Erikson
